“More than education, more than experience, more than training, a person’s level of resilience will determine who succeeds and who fails. That’s true in the cancer ward, it’s true in the Olympics, and it’s true in the boardroom.”
Beginning in mindfulness practice, we start to build awareness for the purpose of allowing past traumas, negative emotions and painful experiences to surface. We use therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy and narrative therapy to help you move past these areas of pain. Mindfulness is used throughout to help manage the intensity, make meaning, and help you rise resilient. Not only will you move past your personal stories that hold you back, you will develop new ways of feeling and thinking that result in a happier and productive life.
A personal retreat custom designed specific to your needs for mind-body healing, self-compassion, personal development and mindful leadership. In these deep retreats, we create space for topics that are hard and even painful. We use therapeutic modalities in combination with mindfulness to walk beside you as you journey into the dark places that have been holding you back. We work with you to deeply and compassionately care for these areas so that you can begin to release them. Although this work can be draining, this retreat will help you nourish you body and mind so that you can begin to heal.
